i know i dont want painless and i already know about howell does anyone know if jim sells a harness instead of cutting a stock one down i just dont want to go thur all of the bullshit with a stock one. id like a new standalone harness also does anyone have a cable throttle body for sell or does anyone know where one is for sell?

I think the guys that Woodle uses (MAST) have a stand alone harness. It will probably be cheaper to have Jim's perf cut your old one down. Not sure what BS you are talking about, seems to be pretty easy and I know Jim does a good job..

Look on Chevy boards for a cable throttle body. Wyatt converted his 5.3 using stock parts I believe

And will go back to DBW if he keeps the buggy and sell the lokar cable setup. He hates it.

I got a DBW TB I will sell you if you need it. Im going cable on mine. You can use a cable TB off of any of them motors, 4.8, 5.3, 6.0. I would go with Jims harness. I have heard nothing but good things about him. He responds to emails at like 10pm and if I write him back there is a reply when I get up the next morning. Cheap too....IMO.

i have a friend who got one cut down (not from Jims) but he has had nothing but trouble with his what all do i need from my harness do i need the fuse box inside or outside or not at all? i have the truck at my house right now so what do i need

i got an all new harness from these folks. http://ls1wiringharness.com/ it was like $400 and I had it in a week. call them and see if they've got what you need.

I've got a cable operated throttle body that came off my motor. no sensors with it or anything though. hows $25 shipped sound?

If lay doesn't need it, I'll take it. If he wants it by all means grab it man

Jims is good ****. I'm done with wait4me. fawk them

lay, unplug the harness from the fuse block with an 8mm from the bottom (I think8)
Don't cut any of it, it will all come out, its just a bitch. keep chasing down wires till you have them all. piece of cake.

I highly recommend JIM's PERFORMANCE in MD for all your wiring harness needs. he is the man and his service and price is amazing. I am very happy with his work.
