I have an 04 6.0L powerstroke. I know I know they are terrible bla bla bla. I have had really good service from this truck. Bought it new and it has 225K miles on it. Never has had a set of injectors. It had 2 put in it when it was bout 3 months old, but none since. It has become really slugish and I had a Ford mech. friend stop by last night and we put it on the lap top. All 8 are missing throughout the powerband. The truck is still in really good condition and paid for so I plan on repairing it.
Any body got a good source on aftermarket injectors? Or the goods and bads on stock vs. aftermarket/reman injectors for the engines. Let me know, I plan on fixing it in a week or so. I need some good advice before buying them from Ford and possibly having more issues within weeks. I would like an hp increase without a programmer so what do ya'll know??
