With all the right wiring and sensor modifications an older computer will run the newer engine. (Not the VVT though.) There are a lot of considerations and details to worry about when you start trying to run an engine with a non-stock computer. Its a huge PITA, most wouldn't consider any gains that come from DBC worth the cost and work.Does your ECM look like this?
