Isuzu Rodeos/Honda Passport, yes. Isuzu Troopers no. Actually the first two years of the Rodeo (91-92?) have a Chevy 10 bolt with drum brakes. If you see drum brakes, it is not a D44.No Troopers ever had a D44. They all had an Isuzu Corporate 10-bolt (prior to mid-87, or the Isuzu 12-bolt.I believe that the Rodeos/Passports all came with 4.30 gears.
