So is it possible to get a Jeep 727, and throw a Dodge output shaft into it, and then bolt up a Ford Np205 with a Dodge input shaft???

Off the top of my head there would be a couple issues......Yes you can put the Dodge shaft in the Jeep trans but you'll need the dodge tail housing to go with it. This gives you a dodge clocking pattern that will be clocked wrong for the Ford 205 IIRC. Next issue is putting the Dodge input into the Ford 205. The Ford case takes a large bearing input and the Dodge takes a small. I'm sure it could be done but it's not a bolt in without special parts.

The Dodge and Jeep are both 23 spline? or is the Dodge one 29 spline from a diesel/V10? A modded 727 output to match a Ford NP205 input would be better. (use a 2wd shaft and have it 32 splined)
