What is the spline count on the axles inner and outer?
Can u run a 15 inch wheel on them with some caliper grinding?
Where is the best place to buy a mini spool are they all 30 spline? Only ones ive found are for 30 spline rears
This is my first time fooling with a dana 44 its going in my 4cyl. YJ im pulling it from a 78 f250 any info. Would be great Thanks

Yea im going to stay 3/4 ton 8 lug so front an rear match.. these knuckles are flat top allready so i will just have them machined for high steer to save some money

You will have to shave a good bit off the calipers and the brackets to fit 15" wheels depending on the offset... not worth it if oyu ask me.. just get 16" or bigger

I just got done building mine on my TJ... if you have questions pm me and I'll try to help ya out... ;)

The brakes suck. I'm in the process of swapping mine to chevy calipers. I'm running 15s with a ton of grinding, would have been less with less backspacing. Even with 2" backspacing you'll need to grind a little, I made the mistake of buying 4".

Could i just use chevy caliper brackets an keep everything else the same or would i have to change it all?? the tires i run now are 15s an i wana keep em

This may not be any help but on my 78-79 ford 60 I swapped to Chevy brakes and used caliper brackets from blackbird customs. I'm pretty sure they make them for the 44 too. My rollers were 15's with 3" backspace and still had to grind a lil. My friend had a 44 from a truck like your talking about and the brakes looked the same but they could be a lil different. He talked about doing the brake swap like I done on my 60. Hope that helps
