Have I lost my mind, or was there never a 8.25 installed into a TJ. I have looked online everywhere I could find, but could not find an availability for a locker for a TJ with an 8.25.

TJ never got an 8.25, only D35 or D44.

I have a buddy that has a 97 TJ, and on the rear axle, it has the plastic plug, rather than the threaded plug like a D35.

The D35 went rubber push in plug in the mid 90's somewhere. It's the earlier stuff that had the threaded one.
