80 toyota truck four link?

Easiest... I'm assuming rear 4-link? TG has a pretty easy kit. Both 3 and 4link

Don't link it. Stay with your leafs. You'll be happier in the end.

But what do I know.......

Agreed. Too many of my friends linked their Pickups and obviously set them up wrong. Body roll. They flex great but they tip over all the time or tear mounts off. Steep learning curve

Set up "right" and its the obvious choice on and off road. In the distant future :booo: My plan is to keep the front leafed and the rear 3 linked. I remember in my 4runner that my waggy's up front far out flexed my rear and the rear was all over the place. So perhaps its the best of both worlds. BTW don't Listen to Money.... What would buggy owners know... :fawkdancesmiley:

whats better, 3-link or 4-link front and rear and why?

i was toying with the idea of 4-link the front and rear of my yota but a friend is trying toargue with me and say a 3 link is better ? :corn:

Im no expert, but for some reason, I do not care for the 3 link setup because of the 3rd link (panhard bar or whatever its called). For example...a 3 link setup used in the rear. Whenever the suspension is compressed, the entire axle assembly will move to the left and when its extended, the rear axle moves to the right. Not saying this is a bad thing, but I would prefer a suspension kept the rear axle centered left to right as much as possible.

The other difference between the 3 and 4 link is....generally speaking, the 4 link requires more work to have the clearance for the links whereas on a 3 link setup, the links are close to the same area as leafs would be so there isnt the same clearance issues.

That being said, I dont have an opinion on which is better....
