'84 Fj 60 questions

I found an FJ60 today for sale. I have no details yet but It looks clean straight and unwheeled. It was parked for sale but covered in snow and parked on ice so I didnt crawle under. Basically I'm wondering what their worth and I know nothing about Fj's exept I'd love to pop its cherry and play with it. What motors come in them? I know that the 3rds are interchangable with the trucks but what else is the same? Are they to top heavy to be fun? What kind of t-cases do they have. Looks like an easy soa for a lift and a it would be a good family rig. It was only $3200 and looked to be clean. So let me know alittle about them.

Thanx for the link. Is a 2f straight six as reliable at the 20 and 22r series of toyotas? Think its worth $3200 knowing the little info that I know of coarse.

I'm running the stock 2F motor in my cruiser still, with god knows how many miles on it and it still runs strong. Shes a little cold blooded in the winter time tho.

For me the 2F has enough low end torque to get the job done. :clappy:
