Could any one post up a pic of where and what the connector looks like. The connector to check timing and codes.

what engine do you have? I have a 1989 Toyota Pickup with a V6 and he check connector on my truck is a small gray box mounted to the side of the fuse box under the hood... it's mounted on the side closest to the engine. It has a gray plastic cover that flips up and reveals the connector. Mounted between the gray box and the fuse box is a small connector with a black rubber cap that says IGN. sorry I don't have a picture of it at the moment, but if you're still having trouble let me know... also, yours could be different depending on the engine and possibly the year.
