Honestly after driving my stock V6 4Runner and my girlfriends stock 4 cyl 4Runner, I dont really see the point of the V6. Harder to work on is one of the biggest things to me.The V6 feels exactly like a 22RE up until about 3500 RPMs, then it kicks in with some more power. But most of the time, youre in too high of a gear and you have to downshift to get it into the power band just like a 22RE.Her 4 cyl now has 35s with stock gears, and it goes ok. The V6 would probably turn them better after the 3500 RPM mark with the kick of power though. It would probably feel about like what the 4 cyl did with stock tires at that point.As for the auto, I have no idea.~T.J.
