It started out as a cab and frame. Some sheet metal was done in the back for the bob. I put a front axle under it and a rear axle for a mock up. The truck was cut off to far to be leaf sprung anymore. I am getting Ideas for linking it in the rear but need to start on a cage first.

Started out like this..

I need to start sourcing what engine set up Ill use. It has 4.3 mounts in it right now. and I just found this,... http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/pts/1551973562.html If I can swing it ill have some kinda of chevy motor in there.

Possible way of linking the back.

Suggestions?

Looks like hrew lower links......The plain of the links look like they cross before the mounts.....To much shaft showing on the shocks for the amount of up travel that can be used......Should have some kind of gusset on the third link mount on the axle since it is the only mount holding side load.....Am i missing anything??

All joking aside......I wouldnt copy any of that suspension....You have a good base to make a very cool wheeler. That suspension looks to have a TON of anti sqaut and it isnt put together so well.....Go search pirate and look at different link set ups and read as much possible so you can get a better understanding of a link suspension. Just building a link set up could cause it to work shitty. There is alot more to it than just building it.

Watch this thread....Alot more knowledgeable people here to convince you not to go that route ....I really dont know much anyway...:redneck:

Thanks. I was aiming more towards the the tri- 4 link. Either get the money for the trail gear one or copy it.

the geomerty is shitty on the TG kit:rolleyes: The link angles at ride height suck too, be prepared to drop the crossmember down as much as you can.

but easy to install and better than that 3 link you posed pics of.:D

I just seen a pic of the kit installed on a truck. I dont know how much I like the look of it, I dont know anything about links but it might be what your talking about.
