First I'd like to officially say wassup to everyone on the PBB! I'll skip the sentimental "If it wasn't for you guys on here this would never have happened..." bla bla bla... It's true, but if it wasn't for you guys my wallet would be allot fatter!

A little back-round on me. My name is Alex I'm 22 and have no fu#$ing clue as to what I'm doing. Every thing I've done right on this build is a result of the tech I learned here, and everything I screwed up is a result of me being lazy and not reading the FAQ

I've never worked on 4X stuff prior to this build so absolutely all of it was new. It's taken me about a year from the time I tore into this (truck as I bought it.)

To where it's at now.

The truck how it was when I bought it...

89 Toy ext. cab 3.slo 4wd with some bolt on IFS lift 33" wally world mud terrains, and rear traction (trac... or traction... you'll see em, I haven

I'm skipping past the SAS pics were all used to... so know pile of IFS guts, no grinding... just the end result.

Parts list:

- Custom built jack stands so I can even work on it...
- Solid axle from an 83 P/U
- ARB High pinion 3rd with 4:88's
- All new chromoly axle shafts & Birfs
- All new seals, bearings
- Arp knuckle studs
- marlin high-steer
- Axle gusset(s), new lower shock mounts
- new front calipers
- Vented rotors
- brake lines
- Deaver 4" lift springs
- fabbed spring hanger
- warn 9000i winch
- fabbed winch mount
- custom front bumper
- fabbed shock hoopes
- ARB compressor
- All kinds of wiring/distrobution
- Drive shaft from davezoffroadperfomance
- 35" mickey thompson baja MTZ
- Waaaay to much stereo equp. (I'll explain later)
- new bed back...? (you'll see.)
- and I'm sure a whole bunch of other crap I forgot....

Everything you see with the exception of the bumper and shock hoops was my Dad and I. The spring hanger, winch mount, gussets (not the axle truss, that one was from marlins), and any other misc stuff. As for the bumper and hoops... I just don't have a tube bender, and even if I did, I'd have to learn how to use it. My dad works on an Air force base and has access to all kinds of metal working tools, I tell him what I need cut/bent and he brings it back from work for me to weld up. Like I mentioned earlier, this is all new to me!

Here are the jack stands, built 4 of em to make things easier.

After I got the front spring hanger where I wanted it, I had my pops bend be up a C channel that went up, back, and down the back side of the new hanger/old front X-member.

Better discription...

I though bolted the entire winch/front spring hanger. Bolts go through Winch mount, through C bracket sleeve, though factory X-member, through back side of C bracket sleeve.

Nice build

I see you put a HP FJ-80 diff in with the vented disc brakes from an IFS 'Yota in your straight axle. Looks like you internet wheeled for a bit and doing it right rather than
