92 TJ Question!!

Ok this probably sounds kinda dumb, but what friggin axles did the 1992 Jeep Wrangler come with, as well as what t-case did it come with? I'm trying to do some research for my dad since hes looking at one so yeah, id appreciate it if you guys could help me out.

87-95 wranglers are yj's and 96 to 05 are tj's, you have dana 30 front axle and a dana 35 rear axle and more than likely you have a np 231 transfer case

alright thanks man, sorry i got screwed up on my letter designations there, dont particularly care for the jeeps usually so dont know a ton about them.

Yeah. The YJ's have a vacuum disconnect front Dana 30. and a rear dana 35. The T-cases were the NP231's.

Does he need axles? I have an '87 XJ shell I need hauled away very soon (it's in Kirkland) that still has the 3.55 ratio D30/D35 under it. (I just need to finish pulling the wiring harness and I'll be done with it. Hope to have it done by thursday night)
