Built my 94 ex cab last winter and swapped in a 2rz, got some 38" maxxis creepy crawlers for it and took it on about 3 small runs. On the last run it spun a rod bearing. I should be getting a new motor and doing my cage soon and wanted to start a thread while saving you the boring SAS bull crap. So here it is.
2RZ
Single case 4:7:0
38" creepy crawlers
3" tg springs up front
F150 springs rear
Aussie locker, trunion eleminator, ifs hubs, V6 calipers, fj rotors
4:10 gears, welded rear
Bobbed 12"

Not much of an interesting thread but I'll have some more eye candy later. I also have a set of FJ60 axles going in.

Picked up a D60/14b with 5:13's and a Detroit up front. Gonna clean them up and get them under the truck in the next couple weeks.

Also got some 39.5x15 Iroks

It was actually cheaper for me to go this route instead of throwing a ton of money at the fj60 axles. Now I'll have less breakage and can run 42" iroks later. Kinda bummed about using 15" wheels, but they will work for now.

I really don't understand why everyone hates irocs......here in Indiana they work great and just about everyone I know runs them, sticky tires are for drivers that cant make it up stuff with the skinny pedal :****:

Iroks are probably the best tires I've ever ran, the creepy crawlers were bias btw.

Oh you girls, I thought pirate was the place for this kind of bickering. I like iroks, don't like the look of LTB's even if they climb everything down south.

Got my kingpin rebuild kit and went to work.
Those 27 year old kingpins weren't easy to get out, but a little heat did the trick.

Out with the old...

in with the new.

Went with a hammered gray on the knuckles and beadlocks.

Received my wheels. Pro comp 15x10

Going to be wide as fawk!

Few more things done.

Tig welded the beadlocks

Also got it setting on all 4's again. Still have a long way to go but seeing it like this is hella motivation.
