yes...I actually went wheelin! :drinkers: :flipoff1:
did some pretty fun climbs today....the truck worked well. I have an overheating issue I have to address, but I think it is a stuck t-stat. no major carnage, just some dented sheet metal....but you will have that on tight trails with a 130" WB rig...LOL :spin:
here are a few video's.....we got a TON of pics today, just have to wait for my buddies to upload them.

it was nice to finally take the rig out, seems like it has been FOREVER since I have actually wheeled it on some hard terrain. I believe today was that hardest I have ever wheeled it. just gotta do some little things to it to get it where it needs to be. Not a bad a day of wheeling at all....great place to go, close enough for a shake down run, which is pretty much what I was doin.
pic of the first hill I tried...very loose rock and pretty steep...pics dont do justice as usual. in the video you can see how steep it is...

Love it man, glad you got to take it out. How far is that place from you?

Re: a few wheelin vids from today

it took us about an hour and 45 minutes to get to the parking area....bout 5 mins to the trail from there. definately a place that we could go quite a bit. we didnt get to see the whole place, mainly because my truck over heating all day. there are a bunch of rock gardens out there that have a couple trees growing up through them, so the next trip out there we will have a chain saw or something. the place is private land, but the owners dont want too many people out there, so it is kinda kept on the DL :flipoff1:
I cant wait to get back out there, but I have some things I need to get done to the truck first.

couple of questions for you guys. as you could see in the V notch vid, the truck as a TON of flex, but it also has a TON of body roll. I am assuming my spring rates are too soft. I also think I need to bump stop the rear 1/4 ellip springs, since I think they are causing most of it.......
I know a few of you have done some spring rate calcs, so help a brother out....
I will go out and get some measurements of the coils and such.
