Thanks in advance

Mark W has/had a tig machine and he know how to use it. I have a spool gun for my mig that I've welded aluminum with successfully, but only thicker stuff, haven't tried sheet metal.

I have a spool gun.
That being said, I have not had allot of practice with it.
So you would need to bring some scrap to get it dialed in.

I am guessing most aluminum welders aren't that mobile?

Clear this up for me. I have a ramp I need raised up a few inches...

A mobile aluminum Tig welder is a lot of money to have a mobile setup. Most people don't have the correct plug readily available.

can the ramp be brought to the welder? does it need to be welded? can something be made to bolt on?

The ramp is moveable. It has legs that need moved so it can be raise up to go over the lip of the upper step. I'd bring it to you, but I'd probably get stuck in the grocery getter.

That, and I can't load it myself...

TIG machine, most likely no.

Spool-Gun for a MIG machine is more portable, or atleast as portable as a 240V Mig machine is, but typicaly more portable than a tig set up.

To weld "thick" aluminum you need a fairly balsy machine.
