They didnt win, but they played well as a team and HB has shown HUGE improvments, she did awesome I was really proud of her !!

Im certain they will lay the smack down at thier game tonight, coach shifted them around alot last night getting a feel for who needed to play were and I think we are sorted out now.

Seriously she was killin me last night, that lil girl aint the fastest, but she is surely the most aggresive and intense, she will check up on a boy in a second and get in there with the body shovin... its awesome.

The boys are typically alot faster runners but the kids all play well together and there isnt any contact for the most part as they are timid about getting the ball kicked at them and getting hit. HB caught one to the side of the head last night but stayed in there like nothing , they trip up on each other sometimes and fall thats about the only time one gets a boo boo or cries a second. They are resilient lil creatures fo sho!! thumb.gif

God she is getting so BIG! I miss her so much....Give her lots of hugs and kisses for me.....Ask her if she would like me to get her anything from over here.

You will be amazed at the improvement you will see every time she steps on the field. A few years ago when my daughter started I did not think she gave 2 shits about it. In 4 years she has become the #3 player in the league in her age group, U8. She amazes me every time I watch her play. I nor her mother played soccer growing up so I do not know where she picked up this ability for the game.

If she gets the opportunity to play indoor during the winter let her. It helped her a ton, indoor is non stop since there are no out of bounds. Plus it keeps them active during the winter and keeps them working on their skills.

She got no real instruction last year, it was "run around have fun" type coaching. The coach this year is working with them and they have only had a few practices but your right, its amazing how fast they pick up skills and learn new technique. I love watching her put herself into it, she really loves it !! I cant wait to see the progress she makes this season with the coach she has now loller.gif

We have been lucky, in 4 years she has only had 2 different coaches. Both played soccer in college and really love the game.
