Adam Carter - KOH

I started an open letter for those of us that have watched Adam compete this year in XRRA and King of the Hill and WeRock.

Please don't make this a write in deal like with Rusty Bray, the point is to give reasons WHY Adam earned the XRRA champ spot.

Lets not be running anyone down and no posts that don't have facts to support why he earned the right.

Remember, Dave and Jeff own this race. Try to keep away from words like "Deserve" and "Must" when making your point. Adam EARNED the spot. Back him up and post up your support.

I posted up Nolen, I think this is the best thread you have ever started on PBB. I think it will get attention coming from you. Adam/Pops if I can help you with putting together a marketing packet or web site you just let me know. I am good at that stuff and would be honored to help in any way that I can to get Adam to KOH and in front of more sponsers. He is what the sport needs.

The only comments I have heard about Adam have been said here, but the posts by Nolen and Matt were well stated and a convincing argument.

Asked and answered. Looks like Adam is in for LMQ.

That is cool, that just means we get to watch more of Adam.

I deleted the thread because I did not want it to become a pissing match.

I hope Adam and Pops got to see all of the kind words the other competitors had for them.

I respect Dave for his answer. I don't agree with it, but I do see it from his point of view.

A lot of good words in it. Nothing bad for anyone, unlike the Dusenberry thread about not getting invited. Nolen that was big of you to toss that thread up there. Thank you. You have the ability to say stuff on Pirate that most cant.

Kelly called me on Saturday after Shannon won, and asked me the question, about does Adam get in. And I was like, I doubt it. I guarantee that spot reserved for XRRA Champion goes to the LCQ pool. The LCQ has to be 20 or so spots now right? I bet anyone that shows for the LCQ will run the next day.

If we had shown up in Jellico ready to comp on Friday, we would have been racing on Saturday. I beat myself to pieces thinking about that on Saturday after hearing Jodi Weaver told Kelly that. Sometimes you just have to gamble, load and go. Maybe it works out maybe it doesn't.

AC wont have any trouble at the Hammers getting in. He's that good.

I doubt this very much, I have heard from Dave that there have been less than 5 people till him they are out all together. I would not be surprised if there are as many as 50+ teams show up for the LCQ...

It's late and I'll be short.I rambled on on the pirate thread and We want to thank all on here to that have helped and offered support this year.We've had a blast racing this year and will be back next year to do it all over again.Adam is going to try to sell this car and build another one set up a little more KOH ready.I'll be keeping the sale post fresh for a few weeks.Thanks to everyone for the kind words.Feb will come quick.
