I have the KLR tentatively sold locally for $3200 Hoping to get this for $2500 cash. Good choice? Dunno, but they sure do rip compared to a KLR.

Would I have to say RIDE RED all the time now? :flipper:

Unsure I need to do this though. The KLR is a pack mule and pretty comfy for several hundred miles. I know that XR is not.

The VFR is already killing my left wrist. Hoping I get used to that and build up some tolerance. Otherwise I will have two uncomfortable bikes that are FUN to ride.

After this weekend camping trip and 600 miles of riding (over half on gravel, level B) I am thinking I will fall in love with the KLR again. Only put 200 miles on it since it got out of storage.

Yea I cant see the rational in owning a XR and a KLR.... one should fit the bill.

You have bar risers on the VFR ? Makes ALL the difference in the world. My VTR was the same way until I put risers on it. ;)

If I get the XR, the KLR has to go first to pay for it. Just thinking the versatility of the KLR would be missed.

The bars are raised maybe an inch. That's as far as it can go. Full lock I hit the high beam switch on the faring and barely miss the kill switch the other way. I have not looked at aftermarket yet for this bike as I know there is **** I would buy! :flipoff1:

Keep the KLR around and see how you like living with 2 bikes.

The XR isnt any better off for you then the KLR and you know what you have in the KLR

You got myspace whores out the ass....2 mopeds....money to burn.....who knows how many cases of Miller Hi-life.......how much more fun can one guy stand? ::)
