Air conditioner just took a dump!!!

There I was getting in bed at about 9:45 tonite, when I laid down and heard the ac kick on. Unit is right outside the bedroom window and I noticed it sounded a little funny. Long story short, I tore a bunch of things apart to try to get a motor for the fan that pulls air across the condenser with no luck. So now I'm left with no AC, Two fans that have no motors, and a dryer that's all torn apart! ;D

If the good shop fan wasn't one of those "heat buster" huge ass round fans I would have just put it on topof the unit so it pulled air just like the original fan was, but it was too big.

My A/C took a **** on me as well. Couldnt have happened at a better day----heat index of 102 out here today :****:

That's funny mine just went out the other day too - it was hot as balls in the house for about 24hr

Hopefully I got it fixed on my lunch break today. Fan motor and a capacitor. Not sure what it cost yet. Friends dad just said here's the parts, see if it works then we'll figure it out later. Seemed to be working when I left. Guess I'll find out here in about 15 minutes.

I jjust cut up 3 AC units, all 3 have good working fans/motors. Wish I were closer
