I'm puttin a hp60 and 14 bolt in my Tj daily driver with 38" sx on H1s, the axles are already built and the newer style ford 60, I have a set of 14" fox air shocks laying around and it'd be super simple using them on the front of the jeep instead of a coil spring, I'm gonna use stock sway bars for now, anyone ever ran an air shock on the road ? With the shafts rust to hell with salt in the winter !?

Don't know about the rust but a buddy runs pretty much what u described ....
Air shocks front and rear rusty's arms in front linked rear with frame frenched.....drives like a dream with hydro assist on 43s.
He did go with aftermarket sway bar on the front tho...

I have a shelf full of jeep parts and a set of axles,Psc assist and box,4" lift , bumpers , winch, wheels and tires , the back of my frame on my Dailey driver is starting to rust so I'm gonna cut it off and tube it but keep the body, highline the front to clear 38s on a four inch lift, I'll have almost nothing invested in this build ( new money ) just cleanin the shop of old spare parts

I drive the **** out of my on the street with Fox air shocks. My TJ is stretched to about 108 wheelbase with a 3 link front and 4 link rear and handles like a race car but the Detroit sucks in the rear going up the curvy mtn roads in north ga.

Tuned properly it should work great. The rust shouldn't be an issue on a quality shock, I wouldn't think.
