WTF ( and Im not talkin about the boat. )

A.P. brags about being below the national average and whatever, but man my power bills in Ks were less than here and the weather was 3x more inclimate year round.

And totally not my fault. Southern Company has a rachet going on down there and have put the squeeze on all the small guys. The IPP's (Independent Power Producers) such as my company and the smaller utilities around them and within their control area/balancing area.

What can you do? Write your congressmen, and women, and push for Retail Deregulation. You'll then be able to pick your provider like you pick your long distance on your home phone.

BTW, what is your charge per kw/h?

It is to pay for all the advertising. We have all seen it, from the coins, to the birds. They spend millions to tell us how good they are. Like we have a choice of who we buy power from. Stuff the fukin birds with the coins, give it to some needy kid for Christmas, and cut our rates.

They say 99.9% always on in commercials. Good thing they dont have a clue cause the 99.9% keeps us busy in the commercial and home standby generator business.

99.9% is how often its own for thier facility.. My **** goes out anytime there is a small rain storm or the wind blows. Its funny, half a mile away will be outta power and we will have it , or we will be out of power and they will have it.

Im not really bitchin about service though, just the cost of said service. Price gougin SOB's

They are that. Gas jumped at once and they have been climbing trying to hide it. They also sold alot of heat pumps and water heaters due to gas jumping all at once. Little do those people know they are getting screwed know.
