Allied Aluminum Beadlocks?

I have ran the Allied Steel beadlocks before but not the Aluminum . I am trying to go light as possible and I also ran across a deal for 4 , 42" Iroks on Allied Aluminum Beadlocks mounted for 2500.00 This is a brand new set . What do you guys think. And don't get on me about 44's . I am on a tight budget right now. :****:

I ran a set on a 1 ton tj I had about 2 years ago and had no problems. The gut I got the tj from had them on there for about 2 years before i bought it. They looked killer wish I had em' back!

They are good wheels, lots of racers run em. If you like them and they are in your budget go for it. I think you can look around and find a better deal on some slightly used stuff though

I have been looking and pricing a few different ways. I can get a new set of iroks 42" and trail ready for 3100.00 . So the price of the new allieds and iroks isn't bad. I am still on the lookout but if the aluminum Allieds are good then I probably will go the route.

allied makes good all. beadlocks...been around alot of them...very stout...but id ditch the iroks though....

it is a package deal, I have always had good luck out of the irok's . not good in the mud but they have done me well on the last 2 rigs. I can always trade them off later if I change my mind. seems like everyone is going to the red labels., wish I had the money.

Price new allieds and the tires YOU want from Jimmy. I would go for a 17" wheel since it seems like most of the good tires are for that size. I priced some steel wheels and tires from Jimmy and it was very cheap IMO. Most new and used red labels will sell for cheaper than new interco tires. Red labels are not expensive, especially if they are take offs. Some folks get them and mark them up from racer's price.

The allieds are 17" . That is all I can run on this buggy cause it has large rotors . Jimmy is pricing me some new wheels and tires and if it is close to the iroks and allieds I will get them. The wife really likes how the Allieds look compared to the trail readys, I am the opposite.
