• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

alright what about

I keep seeing this tq3 that some company is modifying for independant 4ws that only cost's $65, hopefully it doesn't suck cause that's what I'm buying.

Dixon T is right about the TQ3. You can save a bunch of $$ if you have even basic electronics skills (you can solder some wires). There is a sticky on the rccrawler board with a ton of onfor on modding these radios.

The best way to get TQ3's is to go to your LHS and ask if they have any in the back available.
The Traxxas TQ3 comes with the REVOS, E-MAXX, T-MAXX, etc.
Some buyers upgrade the radios/recievers during purchase of the rigs to get a better deal. So the LHS just takes TQ3 out of the box.
I have purchased 3 of my TQ3's this way. All came w/recievers for $30.
Modding the radio cost about $4 for the return to center toggle switch at radio shack. 10mins to mod.

Good luck

I modded mine yesterday, took me about 10 ta 15 mins looking at a picture on RCC. It worked slick and I already had a waterproof switch.:clappy:
