Alright... so I'm swapping a TTB out of an '89 F-250 into my '90 F-350 so I can sell it (I'm keeping the 60). Apparently the springs are different. I have the stock TTB brackets bolted in, and with the two sides of the TTB bolted up and the rig sitting with weight on the springs, both sides are well beyond "droop" still.
So an FYI, even though I was told the springs are the same, they aren't... F-350 springs have much more arch to them.
So, tonight I'm going to measure and see what I can do... both leafs have a 1/2" "lift block" leaf attached to the bottom of them, I can take that out, but it doesn't look like it will net me enough of a difference to make the TTB assembly ride right..
My other option is to dig out the TTB brackets that the guy gave me that are for a lift, and measure and see if things will line up that way... which is probably my better option, since I want the truck to ride level, not raked out and nose low.
I figure this might be helpful info for anyone doing the same project as me down the road. Those kingpin HP 60's are overkill for a "tow rig", and can be put to much better use under a Jeep. :awesomework:
