my alternator is mounted to my exhaust mainifold and the tensioning is done at the alternator. the only thing i dont like about how mine came out is the high pressure line is going through the belt. if I need to put on a new belt i have to unhook that line, put a belt on, reconnect th line and bleed the system. that could be changed by getting a new hose.Heres a few more pics
