Sounds like we have another death in the four wheel drive community. I got a call from a techtafab he said there was an accident at Flat Nasty in Missouri. I'm sure the full story will come out soon, but basically a big rig was gettin after it on the bounty hill, kicked up a 3 foot rock and it killed a guy taking photos or video(not sure which). The guy was 26 with a wife but no kid. I don't know how accurate all my info is but it really makes me sad and curious who it is since I know a good number of the photogs in the industry.

Keep his family in your thoughts and prayers guys. Man this has been a bad year for four wheelin... Way too many casualties lately. :'(

Thats exactly what scares me about you and Ricky B. I've seen your shots and Ricky especially cheats it through the camara lens.

I had a rig roll end over end and almost kill my brother and I down a hill at Harlan. It is scary I've had several close calls and I know Ricky has too. I just told my ol man, if this is gonna be how **** happens--then I'm done taking video. ****, it's not worth getting killed over. I've been pretty gunshy as of late just because with a throttle jocky type driving--you don't know where a rig is gonna fly or what it's gonna throw at you. Man this story has me freaked out.

we had just pulled in to flat nasty sat. around 2 oclock
and was asked to pull our rigs to the side of the road
and then she said why !!
a young guy was at the bottom of (get it billy) a bounty hill
taking pic of a rig and he kicked a LARGE rock out and cent it down the
hill, (make this shot) he slipped and fell and was hit by the rock
and was killed
i am really sorry i do not have his name but RIP
if any one has more info please post

yeah, its ricky I'm most worried about. you use the zoom a fair amount. And with retarded drivers like me, I try to tell poeple that have never seen me drive, this rig can end up anywhere in a 50' radius. once I start rolling and going for the save, 50' might not be safe. This is a travesty, and it worries me because too many of my friends are involved in the community. too many good ones this year. :-[

Man... I really hate to hear that. It does hit close to home too. I know I tend to push it with the up close shooting, it's easy to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I'd like to think with experience comes safety. Know what to do and where to go if something does go wrong, and especially knowing not to be behind a rig on an HP hill.

it was a sad day there on sat.
sunday there was a **** load of rigs there
and for what it's worth there was a lot of beer cans out on the trails

Real nice... look I like beer alot, but nothing pisses me off more than cans on the trails or trash in general. Stupid asses. >:(

Real sad to hear about that kid losing his life. Be careful and stay aware of whats going on out there. Been a ruff year for wheelers this year. :(

Paul... like beer... NO WAY!

Really a bummer man.. I saw some pics of it from a distance it looks like on hell of a hill. I think they outta name it in rememberance or put some sort of memorial thing where he was killed. :'(
