Our club (www.pnwjeep.com) has been in contact with Ready Welder and we are setting up a group buy. Crash gave me permission to post this here and extend the opportunity to the NW Wheelers family as well. We are going to try and wrap this up in a week or so, if you're interested please contact me ASAP. Here are the details:

Available are the Ready Welder model 10000 and the model 10000ADP. Click through to their site for details on these welders.

http://www.weldstone.net

The 10000 is available for $479, including shipping to Auburn, WA and ready for pickup there. MSRP is $599.

The 10000ADP is available for $499, including shipping to Auburn, WA and ready for pickup there. MSRP is $619.

Orders will need to be paid in advance. Additional discounts will be available for everyone if the order exceeds 4 units. PNWJeep members, please see the Club Discussion section.

Feel free to post up any questions.

Currently we have 3 units spoken for, so if we get more the price goes down more.

Wow!!! Great deal!!! A member of our club (who tends not to miss any of our runs) already has one, and has saved his, and a few others' azzes on the trails!!!:awesomework: Great Tool, Great Price! Way to go John!!!:cheer:
Just think,if your group consists of a few regulars on the trails(say 4), that's just a little over $100 apiece...Food for thought.

I'd like to get one for bringing to comps. Money is tight but I'll try and get in on this deal. Can I paypal you the $?

I could be down, you willing to ship it to me for a little extra?

Yeah, I could ship it to you, or could get it to Brandon and at least get it to Portland, if not further.

And yes, Paypal can be used. I'll check and see which account we need it to go to.

John, what's your commitment date on this group buy?

I've had one of the first gen welders for 5 or 6 years.......best $ you'll ever spend.Even if you can't weld......someone in your group usually can.

This will have plenty of power running of 2 yellow tops?

I tried the 2 battery stick welding once and wasn't impressed.

I've used one a few times, always just with two 12v batteries out of Jeeps. I was always impressed /w how hot it burns on 2 batteries, we've welded some pretty serious stuff.

X2...works excellent on two; ya just gotta charge the batteries once in a while(as we found out the hard way!!!:redneck: )

I have had one for 6 years and it is the a great tool. I am a welding retard and have figured it out.

If you even have the sligtest thought of buying one, get one.

The several competitions I have been to , my ready welder have been in constant use to keep others able to keep competing.
