wondering if anyone has made homemade hinges for the windshield of a Zuk?
looking at making a set, but before i drift off into that Paulie place of thought, i thought i'd ask... spring is coming & i want to run the zuk w/ the option of lowering the windshield once the day warms up out on the trails...

----------- Idea's / pictures / or link to someone who made a set?

RRO has some and they used to have good pics to give you ideas. also i've seen some on ebay you could probably copy

What about the factory ones?
If you don't like those how about the ones Brent makes?
They are pinned so you can pull the windshield.
If you don't want to buy the complete fold down kit just the front brakets let me know. I have been thinking about getting the pinned ones.

I've seen the pinned ones & like those... they allow you to lower the windshield or pull the pin & completely remove it. I know most of the kit's only run around a $100. - but i'm a cheap O & like to fab the little stuff like this. just wonder if some have came up w/ some home-brew stuff...

looks like i'm going into that *(American Chopper) Paulie thinking Mood.

theres a lip that rises upwards, therefore all the hinges have a raised portion to them... or there cut out. I'am debating if i just use a regular hinge and weld a riser plate / backing plate on the hinge, so that it clears that hump.

I don't want to run the windshield in the summer on the trails, but would like it for the hyway driving.

Jeremy I think he wants to keep his windshield :D
Hey how is the buggy coming along?
It looks like I will be in town/country till late March April time frame :D
You been doing any wheelin?
Green mountain has been fun.
