took one this week for a fire department. first round was about 400 questions online prior to exam, then went in 2 days later and took about 600-700 more. fuggin **** wears ya out. some screwy Q's. after the test, sat down with a shrink and went over it and talked a while and more Q's. he gave me the results and sure as **** he fully explained what kind of person I am like he knew me for 200 years

All my guys take them before they get an offer letter. And it has bounced a few candidates for us. I don't put much value on it for what its worth but our human resources group has a different opinion.
Sorry its early I can't think of the name of test name.

Most of these tests are aptitude tests. They use them for personality profiling. DISC is one such test. Driver/Analytical/Expresive/Passive Ifyou tell the truth when answering the qestions they are dead-on accurate.

Real psyc evals are brutal. I had to take one when I got some specialized security clearances.

I had taken a couple that were maybe 1/2 hr long. pretty right on. but 5 hours of questions and over 1000 questions, that's fuggin brutal. My cousin that has a masters in criminal justice was interviewing at a couple agencies and was telling me about the live ones where you get to sit in front of a panel and get **** thrown at you and get hooked up to the lie detector and ****. He said that to anyone that hadn't seen all the tactics being used in class (if you were just thrown in there) you would be like, "wtf man, why you yellin at me"? Me, I'm okay not knowing who's running around in my head and why I have a deathwish :flipoff1:

Anytime my company brings in new investors they make all of the officers take them. This was the third time I had taken them. The last one I took was half written and half live panel. It was brutal! When the counselor came in to discuss the results. I told him most of the results, without ever seeing them.
