Anyone Heard Of Putting Boat Engines In Trucks?

I Am lookin for a rebuitl 350 and this guy e-mailed me back. he says " For $1000 I have a 350 that has about 3 hours on it, was a boat engine that the owner needed more power. I can put another set of heads and cam it it for you that will give you some toruqe but not like a 383. If you are interested call me and we can discuss it."
Is This A Good Deal?Ive Never Heard Of A boat Engine in a truck?

basically the same, i build boats and some boats we build use turbo cummins deisel motors.

the motor in my sand rail started life as a boort motor, they are better blocks to build up as they have a tighter following being build by factory
as for injectors yes i have a 05 cummins with the boat injectors in it you get a little better throttle repomse and a little more power but you also give up som gas milage to do so
