There is an Allen screw on side of throttle body that will allow you to adjust plate to open up faster we had to open it up on my 02 lq4 do to increased fuel at idle make sure when you open throttle wide open plate is opening all the way up a lot of info on ls1 tech talking about this. (We had to have my old one set where it wasn't shut all the way ) it basically a manual override for iac
