Anyone use these tires?

They are a load range C. Can't be any worse than my 10-ply load range E Toyos. I just wonder how they perform in the NW, and how long they would last.

We have them on all the Hummers at work (navy base). Too bad we can't wheel 'em. But they wear okay for what we do.

I know the Army boys like to run TSL's on thier hummers. But they actually get to use thier toys.

But load rating doesn't say how well the sidewall flex's....

I think I may just keep my 16" wheels and go with the 36X13.50X16 Irok radials. I just came across the H1 tires and my brain tried to think about saving money!

Get the bias Iroks. The radials have weak sidewalls.

The goodyear tire store in Woodinville said those tires are being liquidated nationwide. The Woodinville store said they were offered those tires at something like $40 each, but they had to take hundreds.

If you wheel, 16.5 is the worst wheel to have due to no beadlock bump on the wheel! What it boils down to is if you run down the air psi, the bead will fall off the wheel! Air psi is what holds the tire on the lip of the wheel! All other wheels, 12",13"~ up to 24" all have a little bump that the lip of the tire has to "POP" over to seat the bead! 16.5 don't!

I've seen people with 35-12.50/16.5 tires with 40+ psi bump a curb and pop the bead off the tire! They are a waste of money! Unless you want to spend the whole wheeling trip reseating the tire back on the wheel!

I have 16.5 wheels on my 39.5 tsl's and have only popped one off the beed in the 8 months they have been on and that was due to a tree rut and i run 10psi at all times. Like Berne said its all about the wheel.
