Anyone's wiff own a day spa salon?

Erica is thinking about opening one up. She has a BS in Management/Marketing from Truman State, but would obvoisly need to attend cosmo school. Is there any money in this? Too much work for the amount of dollas earned? Whats the word?

My cousin owns one, granted she's in a Rural area and got a reputation working for another lady's place before opening her own, but she seems to do pretty well with it.

I think the real question is the $$ to time spent there. I know she is there ALOT to get the business she gets.. ie, after hours type stuff on weeknights and lots of weekend work. You know when hoochies arent at work and are out getting thar nails did.

I absolutely can not imagine dealing with some hooker wanting her hair and face perfect when she looks like an old work boot, is on the back side of her 40's, has three whiney ass kids tearing the salon down, then wants me to make her look good enough to nail Bones. luke's wife ^ opened one across the street from my sister in this small town. depends on teh area. Paola is a fairly wealthy town compared to a couple around it. They do well here, in a trashy town, there's no money in it.
that said, my sis is doing great business, and it turns out its mostly on the ala carte ****ing purses and sunglasses and **** she buys in dallas for $1 and sells for $20. get them in the door for the facial, sell them the ****.
