hey just wondering what would make the arb not turn off right away it takes a little while and sometimes i have to trun the compressor off its worked fine tell now

it takes a few feet to dissengage, or a few revolutions on the carrier. same with engaging it, take a second to lock in but it will do it on the fly.

havent changed anything not with the arb it sat for a week with the axle shaft out of one side since i was changing some crap on one of the side axle shaft and other crap then i changed the diff oil noticed a very small amount of rust figured it was from the axle shaft sitting out of it the moisture got to it
i hear the pressure blow off
i hope that its just taken the revolutions to unlock

If the pump just runs and runs and you have no leak the relay is sticking. My old one did, Hopefully it doesnt produce enuf pressure to blow the o-rings.

I hit mine a few times and it worked for the next few years

I'm thinking Mr Garrison needs to give us some better details of exactly WTF is wrong. mmmkay? :flipoff: Your first post sounds like you're saying the compressor isn't shutting off.

Shanes right... more info needed.

Is it the compressor or the Air Locker that is being slow to shut off?

Your second post makes it sound like the Air Locker is slow to disengage(?).

As long as there is no bind on the drivetrain, the Air Locker should unlock right away.

Has it always been like that? Or after you worked on it?

How old is the locker?

nevermind it seemed to work today its like 6 months old thanks i just thought it was supposed to unlock emidietly

FWIW It should release immediately unless it is under tension.
