I think it would help if they quit giving them so much coverage on TV. I understand it's the public's right to know the names of criminals and what not but I think these guys do dumb **** like this sometimes because they know the news outlets will make them famous.

Been saying that for a long time. These mentally tormented ****wits have never had any attention in their lives and want to show ppl what they can do, they think they'll leave a legacy and will be remembered. And as much the media drills this **** into people's lives every day, then touch back on it again the next time a similar incident happens, they get to leave the legacy they intended. The vegas shooting got less coverage it seems than most of these school shootings. Probably bc there was some hush-hush stuff going on with that one.

Personally I agree with this. I believe a lot of this is nothing but psycho ****ers trying to outdo one another. Mostly kids that are bullied and picked on and want to get their revenge as well as their moment in the spotlight (school shootings)

Maybe parents should to teach thier kids not to pick on other kids. Not saying I agree with what they do but like mentioned above it's the odd kids doing this. Make odd kids normal. My opinion is parents don't care enough about thier kids to prevent stuff like this and mass shootings.

Buddy of mine had his grandsons being picked on at school. Kids got off the bus the other day and the older brother cold cocked the bully when he started in on them. Guess who got kicked out of school, not the bully. My buddy went up to the school and gave the principal a talking to since this has been a well documented ongoing problem. If the school admins would do their ****ing jobs and stop the bullies, this crap (school shootings) wouldn't happen as often.

There's a difference in poking fun at someone and daily beatings. Get your thick skin, and throw insults back, but when your kid has bruises from getting beat, then there's a problem.

I got thrown in the mud literally every week (sometimes all five days) of Kindergarden. Then in first grade they made a song for me, "fatty fatty 2x4 can't fit through the bathroom door" then they would run off. ( Of course I couldn't catch them, being fat and all) Then in middle school I became the poor kid. I know how it feels. I Guarantee you I have been hit more than 20 times the amount of times I have hit back. Never started loading my guns or plotting revenge though, because some people in my life cared enough to teach me what really matters.

With all that said, I honestly pray my son doesn't have to live that, because if he does come home bruised and crying I will only be able to handle so much without going full retard.

I don't have kids yet but when and if I do I plan to try and get them involved in martial arts early on. I got picked on a lot in elementary and middle school and then I got heavily into karate and it really boosted my confidence and self esteem and people quit ****ing with me.
