One of my Jeeps has the Art Carr shifter and it's great. One drawback is that the cable exits from the rear of the shifter, not the front. I have a Tuffy box so I had to raise it to allow the cable to go under it. It was a bit of a PITA but I love the shifter. I modified the shift gate to allow a 2nd to reverse shift. I've needed it a few times. My other Jeep has a B&M Pro Stick. I did some grinding and a bit of welding and it's now a one hand shifter. You still have to squeeze a lever to shift but it's really easy to get to reverse or park.
