My speedo came in a set from autometer. The set is number 1302. The Speedo has number 2650-1184 on the instruction manual. It came with it's own sender, however I do believe after reading the instructions, that the factory sender from the donor transfer case will also work. "The transmission's speedometer cable take off is 1000 RPM at 60 MPH. Most vehicless meet this requirement." It's is also a Calibration allowed. So I ** should ** be able to adjust the calibration, instead of changing the gear driven components.

Anyhow, I'm using the two wire sender. One wire is the pulse. One is ground.

And on the speedo head, there are 4 wires. One is the pulse (output to the sender), one is 12v ignition, one is ground. The last wire is to the PCM. ** I believe this is only used on those motors that require a speed signal to properly shift the tranny, control engine ignition signals, etc.,,, and is not needed on my application ** that's because the note says "This speedo provides an output terminal that can be used with late model using existing Vehicle Speed Sensors... yada yada yada"
