Something to try next time I work with it, I guess. I didn't think to do that while I was working on it today. I got discouraged and tackled the SYE install instead.The other thing I thought about, but probably won't do unless it's a last resort, is just re-drill the output adapter on the XJ transmission for the YJ clocking. The castings are exactly the same, the bolt holes are just drilled in a different spot so the YJ t-case is clocked up further than in the XJ. The problem with this is getting it "perfect" so the output shaft lines up and all the studs on the t-case fit.
