What's the 44 out of? Front or rear?

If it's a front HP 44 from a ford truck or bronco, check this kit out... http://www.rubiconexpress.com/Products.aspx?Cn=169&Pn=2090&XnPath=169&Vid=3437F73770737

Pretty spendy, but all you have to do is clean the housing up, put everything in the right place and weld the pieces on. I know it says it's for a TJ, but the TJ/XJ/MJ/ZJ all use the same front axle brackets and locations, so the kit works for putting a custom axle in any of those models.

If it's another front 44, say like a wagoneer or something, then you'll need to modify the pieces a little as well as remove some of the material from the housing itself, but it will still work.

I am faceing the same decision with my 44 swap. I have a Ford HP 44 going into my ZJ. All the bracket kits seem to be the same general price but the TnT Customs kit is a nice truss too. If you don't want the truss style kit look at the Dynatrac kits. The RE bracket for the driver side upper looks like a peice of .250 thick flat steel with four bends for over the diff. The Dynatrac bracket seems to be boxed more for ridgidity. This is better IMO if you intend to only run one upper most of the time.
