axle shaft u-joint cap life (ctm, yukon, ouverson, longfield, etc.)

How often are you guys replacing the caps? I've run the CTM's since I built my buggy. I've replaced the caps once already and they are starting to get some slop again. I don't have an issue with having to do it, I consider the caps a wear part. Just wondering if others are replacing theirs every 2 years roughly or am I being too picky and I just need to run them. Just seems to me once you start getting slop you shouldn't let it go too long. I grease mine probably every other ride.

I'm running super joints for the last 2 years, grease them every trip or every 3 or 4 days of riding.. they are still tight enough I'm not worried about them yet.
