I am looking for a pair of axle shafts for my '92YJ's Dana 35C, someone here has some. He has 2 pairs but they are from XJ's. One pair is from '91 and the other is '89.

Will these work?

the 91's should...I bet the '89's will not. It was some time around the late '89 or '90 model year that the 35 rears went from a bolt in axle type to a c-clip.

Yep, like Jobless said... you need to figure out if they're c-clip or non c-clip and match them up with yours.

Easy way to tell if a 35 is c-clip: look at the housing where the brake components bolt on. If it necks up into a larger outer diameter before the brake drums, it's a NON c-clip. If the tubing OD stays the same size all the way into the drums, it's a c-clip axle. This is the only differences you need to know when swapping shafts between these axles in XJ/TJ/YJ/ZJ. They'll interchange as long as you make sure which style axle you have.

I went ahead picked up both pairs of axles from Cascade_Crawler. Thanks a TON!!!:clappy: Pulled the old one(passenger side), slid in the new one and put the Lock-Right back together and it works!!! :super: :cheer: :clappy:

Thanks again Jonathan!
