I picked up a D60 frontend last weekend, and I am slowly tearing it down because it needs to be rebuilt (seals, breaks, u-joints, gears, locker, etc.).I am planning to have gears installed this winter sometime (no money to do it now since I just spent it all on the axle). My question is, can I go ahead and pull the gears, and carrier now or should I leave them in there? Will who ever installs my gear set need the stock gears left in there for some sort of measurements? I've never done gears so I don't know.Thanks...
