B&M shifter questions

I've got a c-6 reverse manual valve body, it has a b&m shifter, looks like a megashifter. Anyone modified the gates to shift from drive (1st) to neutral or reverse without pulling up the vertical T handel? I've looked at it just wanted an option before I started grindind? Also anyone lock out park from reverse? Or just ditch it for another shifter? Thanks
 
I had a ranger with a mega shifter, ground out the gates just like you're describing. R-1 no lever, just bump shift. Pull up the handle for P

Cool thanks, , how did you like it? Was it easy to hit a wrong gear?
