So we picked up a losi mini used. It had a stripped front locker, but for $150 still a good deal since metal lockers are a must. So a trip to the covington hobby shop and we were ready to start the build.
With a limited budget we produced a very capable comp ready Mini.
Mods:
Metal lockers
Castle BEC (wired direct to servo, not reciever)
4 link ( 1/8" rod threaded and bent to clear shocks, mounted to stock trays)
Eliminated battery tray
Flipped upper shock mounts
Lower electronics
Weighted wheels
Flat Irons (She already has plans for alum beadlocks and rovers)
Lowered body
Under servo tie rod
Rear shock limiters
The servo will soon be replaced with a Hitec 645 fullsize as the stock losi is weak so the saver will remain. For under $300 it is a great start so look out she's gonna get some practice for the next comp.....heres some pics....
Hope ya love it babe!:corn::awesomework:
