I sent that to my dad earlier in the week. Mainly cause i picked up a used bowling ball from the scrapper a few weeks back and he asked me why on earth I picked up a junk bowling ball. well now i got a use...
Whats funny is hes a hoarder to beat all hoarders, so him calling me out on a bowling ball was hysterical.

I probably wouldn't use the bottle jack. I'd just use 4 stout springs that were tight enough to hold about anything with a pedal down at the bottom to release. That way the default position is tight and I only have to push the pedal to move it.
