well, had the lower intake off before sundown today....thought about leaving it in and having my buddy come tig it up, but thought better of it...
upon removal, i noticed that the cracks were BOTH worse than i thougth and realized they BOTH went through to the outside of the housing and also went down about 7 threads into the hole....
o well....maybe it was a sign...because, well, there was a TON of **** in teh injector housing area and the coolant galleys were all gunked up, and could obviously benefit from my most recent misfortune....
here are a couple of shots...nothing really cool...just some of the dirt and BS....
if you follow the teflon tape string, you will see teh crack, although very small and hard to see...
