I bought this Jeep from Steve and then plunged into a new store and have had two babies. It is officially time to resurrect this project.

I am going to borrow some of Steve's pictures, put up a few of my own and hopefully before too long, some on the trail.

First things first, it has sat for 6 or 7 years. I am changing oil, finding leaks, water pump, thermostat......just going over things it needs to be reliable on the trail.

Without further adieu.........here's the pics
Just before surgery.....can anyone tell that Steve owned this Jeep yet?

Just a little trimming

Steve making a removable floor pan. Thank you ten years later, putting in a transfer case and transmission while standing up is nice. Anyone notice the lack of grey hair?

Still has the Dana 20 at this point, with or without a broken rear output is up for debate.

Los Primos with a stock roll bar.....broken rear output confirmed. It is probably a good thing or Steve and I might not be here today.

The last known picture of this beast on the trail. Maybe in 06 or 07

The current list of things to do includes: steering brace for stock steering box, full cage tied into frame, installation of winch, suspension seats, harnesses and some chromoly shafts in the Dana 44. I refuse to put any money into the Dana 44. Once I run out of axle shafts, it is on to the Sixty.
