Balance driveshaft?

So I'm chasing down the vibes in my ZJ, starting with driveshafts. Is it worth it to have it balanced if there is a whole bunch of slop in the slip? When installed there's a good 1/2-1" of movement in the driveshaft due to the slip.(up and down that is) :-\
